It’s been a hot minute, I know. I am finally adjusting to my new uni timetable and, all of a sudden, it’s February. (Crazy, isn’t it?)
February’s challenge is going to be a little bit different because, for me at least, February is a time of change.
Usually I would link my February challenge to Lent, however, this year Lent is happening in March. So, I have decided to be nice this month.
I challenge you to indulge yourself.
The meaning of indulgence (in layman’s terms) is to do whatever you feel like at the time, without letting other people’s bias get in the way. This can be done in many ways, from taking a spa break, to doing something you’ve always wanted to do, like dye your hair.
Do something that you have always wanted to do.
That’s it. Pretty simple. Or is it?
So many people nowadays get stuck before they ever accomplish something due to fear. Fear of failure being at the absolute top. What is keeping you back from doing that one thing? From being selfish and spending time on yourself?
It’s a troubling thought, I know, but I hope you’ll be able to overcome this fear and indulge yourself.
I’ll be with you along the way.
